Founded by Peter Crossley in 2005, we're humbled to celebrate 20 years serving you here in Boston's South End. South End Frames was acquired in 2022 by Robbie Donahoe. At Middlebury College, little did he know his interest in the arts would come full circle some 10 years later. After captaining both the hockey and golf teams, Robbie played professional hockey until an injury sent him back to Boston. As captain of multiple teams over the years, he understands the value and importance of creating an exceptional team. After several years in finance, he wanted to tap back into his creativity and entrepreneurial spirit doing something he loved. South End Frames was the answer, crafting beautiful frames at fair prices to present beloved art in an extraordinary way. The attention to detail, level of craftsmanship, extensive selection of unique frames, customer service, and great value is what earned South End Frames the nod for Best of Boston Home 2025.
